Why I Volunteer, Reason 899: (Mostly) Wordless Wednesdays


Because I can't adopt them all...

And OMG, we soooo want to!

    Ooooh tell me about it.... There is a fluffy black kitten at the rescue I volunteer with,,,,,,,,,,,,, ;-)

      There's all sorts of fluffy kittens I'd love to take home! If I had ACTUALLY tried to adopt every animal I've ever said that about, I'm pretty sure I'd be put away...there's so many! :)

      I love to volunteer! I just wish I had more time to do it! And no, we don't foster right now. I SO want to...but my husband is allergic to cats, and my Riley doesn't get along with other dogs :( Maybe one day! Thanks for stopping by :)

    I completely understand! I feel the same way every time I go to adoption days at PetSmart. It's torture :( Such cute photos. Hope Beau finds his furever home. By the way, love the new site design!

      Thank you so much! Who knew redoing your blog would be such hard work, though? :/ Ha, I'm no good at the computer stuff :)

      And it is DEFINITELY torture to walk past the cages and not take one home! There are some cats at the shelter that have the saddest, most heartbreaking meows ever and it makes me feel terrible. :( Thanks for reading!

    I volunteer at the Humane Society of North Iowa, as well as a few others in the area. It's a great shelter - I worked there for a year, and I've been volunteering for about two. I love it! :) Thanks for reading!
